Institute Service Project!

The whole group together filthy after clearing land! Wow i havent been that dirty in ages. So they had burned the land first and them Brother Bassett had been the previous day and earling in the morning on the day we went out cutting down the rest of trees for firewood. it was our job to load up the wood in the trucks and clear out the branches to the brush pile. it was cool to just roll up with a group of college kids on a saturday morning un announced and help clear the land. i had a blast, and so did everyone else around me. we worked really fast and made tones of progress. it was way funny cuz the girls came up to me like..um can we ask you a question? i was like um yeah...they were like Are you a runner? Becasue you are like way strong and fit... i thought it was funny because i havent run consistantly in forever and i have gained a ton of weight..yes i have...i dont want to hear about how i dont look different becasue the scale never lies...back to te point i was totally flattered. i was like no i used to be an athlete...its just natural i guess... they were asking cuz they had like one log to my six...lol..girls are funny....

So Dan couldnt find out why the truck wasnt moving up that little slant....some thought it was the little branch stuck under the truck.....Justin told him to take the break off...

Brother Bassets overalls burning...they were filthy beyond repair... the flames were like turning gren..it was way cool!

Brother Bassett's son and ex-girlfriend they are so cute together! they got into a ash fight and this was the result! so funny!




So thees two kittens came out of know where and wont leave the Bassett's property! They were so cute...but Justin kept on insisting that we found some way to shoot them becasue they were a waste of space. i pride myself in being someone who can fit almost any word or concept into a conversation, but just totally beat me out. every subject that came up he has some way to fit in killing the kittins. no matter how horrible he was being i just help cracking up becase he s so funny!

i actually have no idea what we were talking about at this picture but i thought it was funny. This is the look that is usually on my face when Justin starts to talk and i usually end up in hysterical laughter, but i love him to death!

Currently, i am recovering from an insane spur of the moment dance party! it started as a ploy from my like way good friend rob to get us over after the General Relief Society Meeting. Here is the note that all of the girls found on their door:

"Hey Sistas. There will be Cookies awaiting your return from Women's Confrance Sat Night in JT 7 (Jamestown #27) Bring your notes and be prepared to share whay they dont want the boys to hear, also be prepared for: HUGS, Cookies, and ROB. It's going to be good."

how that turned into a dance party i dont really know! but it was loads of fun anyway!

hey all this is me second attempt at trying to make some sense! things here have been insane, trying to stay on top of school and work and friends. My classes are good i have some really great teachers and i am also taking 2 institute classes. I have never had like church class in between school and i love it. it just really puts it into perspective why i am here and is always uplifting. i have two amazing teachers. one is actually an author and we are using the newest book that he wrote which is way cool. the class is about isaiah, its a 2 sememster class, and it is the highest class offered at the institiute. righ now i am just trying to establish a good schedual so i am not always tired!

O I Love the zoo!

so i had forgoton just how much i love the zoo! When i was at home i got the oppertunity to take my 4 cousins to the zoo! Danny, Eli, Payton and Gabe! it was fun, but the little ones started getting a little too excited and insisted on jumping in the nasty puddles! what can you do? now my sister and cousin didnt agree, but i was sure that the polar bear was about to jump at me..i documented the whole thing.. and it was looking at me, pacing and growling..dude serious i was scared!

Reunited!

so there is a picture of Rosa, Colleen Marion and me on our front steps in these exact poses when we are like 3 and 4 years old! Marion wasn't there but we did the best we could to do the best faces possible! thanks mom!

My sister's birthmom terrie came into town to visit us! it was lots of fun and it was interesting to see there similarities! They look tons alike!

When Life Became Worth Living

All i can say is wow i miss you girls! Copper Canyon Academy was the best experience of my life! It wasn't always where i wanted to be but if it wasnt for the school and all the amazing staff, i wouldnt be alive. Natalie and Cory were the best! if it wasnt for their amazing example in honors dorm, i dont know if i would have joined the church which is still the best thing that has happend in my life! here are just some of my favorite pictures from my time there! you girls will always be in my heart no matter where you are!
